Dear Friends and Family,

As you know, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) is a cause near and dear to my heart. The work being done by the MMRF is literally saving lives by accelerating research that is helping patients like me when they are diagnosed… AND when they eventually relapse - and will then need a DIFFERENT drug.

In 2017, I rode the first leg of a cross-country ride called MMRF The Road to Victories. Riding with other patients and family members of patients - from Manhattan Beach California through the Mojave and Sonora Deserts and then up the mountains of Arizona to Flagstaff – was an incredibly powerful experience for me. Being able to take that grueling 530 mile ride reminded me of how far I can come since I was first diagnosed…and yet how much more work has to be done to be sure that new treatments are being developed. I loved being part of the team and the ACTION that raised over $400,000 to help the MMRF continue their life-extending work.

This year I am riding with a team of 30 cyclists – all with a direct connection to myeloma – on a challenging 6-day Road to Victories ride from Vermont to Quebec, Canada. We are LIVING Proof that patients are living longer and better quality of life, and that sometimes we are lucky enough to get back to doing the activities we love and what makes us know we are alive!

I invite you to make a donation to my campaign for the Road to Victories here:

My goal is to raise at least $10,000 for the MMRF, and with your help, we can get there. 100% of all funds raised go directly to the MMRF, thanks to our sponsor, Janssen Oncology.

The MMRF is one of the most highly regarded cancer foundations in the world and is in the top 1% of all charities, having earned Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for the past twelve years in a row.

Your tax-deductible donation goes directly to help fast track lifesaving treatments for myeloma patients. Please donate whatever you can to support this great effort! It all adds up!
