The health and well-being of our patients is our top priority. We want to let you know that we have been monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely and will provide any updates to you as soon as possible. We advise that everyone must make their own decisions with regard to managing their risk of exposure. We encourage anyone exhibiting symptoms to please consult your physician. If you have any additional questions about COVID-19, you may contact the MMRF Patient Navigation Center (PNC) at 888-841-6673. The PNC is a resource center staffed with full-time, specially trained hematology/oncology patient navigators that provide support to patients and their caregivers. You can reach the PNC Monday-Friday from 9AM-7PM. If you have any questions about an upcoming Endurance Event, please contact

Join the MMRF as we continue to expand our program to new heights with
the Moving Mountains for Multiple Myeloma (MM4MM) Program!
Mount Washington is the highest peak in the northeastern United States and the most prominent peak east of the Mississippi at 6,288 feet above sea level. Known for it's extreme weather and popularity in the hiking world, this is a very exclusive opportunity to climb as a team with the MMRF.

If you are a moderate to experienced hiker looking for an outstanding summer adventure in the name of cancer research, this is absolutely the hike for you! We will take the Tuckermans Ravine trail, which offers expansive and breathtaking views while you trek upwards on an exhilarating hike. You will gain over 4,000 feet in elevation to reach the summit, then spend the night in the picturesque Lakes of the Clouds hut. This challenging two-day hike will leave you with serious bragging rights! The next morning will find you on the winding ascent down, where you can celebrate your epic hike!

This trek is lead by established and knowledgeable guides from Embark Exploration Co. Note that no special equipment, special training, or any technical climbing is required.

This team will be made up of multiple myeloma patients, caregivers, doctors, clinicians, nurses, and others connected to multiple myeloma. This is a powerful and life-changing experience as the team overcomes challenges, pushes beyond perceived limits, and honors loved ones and friends living with multiple myeloma. This MM4MM team is LIVING PROOF that the work being done by the MMRF and our research partners is helping myeloma patients live longer and more active lives.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, the MMRF is able to underwrite most of the trekking costs of the trip. Team members agree to raise a minimum of $3,500 per person. Please see "Event Info" page to find out more about what is included.

Prospective team members for Mount Washington must apply for and be selected to join the team. Teams are made up of individuals who have a direct connection to multiple myeloma: Patients, caregivers, family members of patients, and those who work directly with myeloma patients. Team members are encouraged to maximize fundraising efforts. Applications will be selected on a rolling basis until teams reach capacity.
