I will be participating in IRONMAN 70.3 Connecticut on June 2, 2019 as part of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) Team For Cures.
Multiple Myeloma is the second most common form of blood cancer. Over 30,000 people are diagnosed yearly with Multiple Myeloma and an estimated 12,000 are predicted to die each year from the disease.
It is a blessing for me to be able to train and race IRONMAN 70.3, but the true Ironmen and women are the people who battle this disease everyday. This is easy compared to the challenges patients face with Myeloma.
I will be racing and raising funds on behalf of my closest friend, Doug, the real “IRONMAN” who has been fighting Myeloma for the past 13 years. I’m proud to be a part of the Team for Cures to help fund important research through the MMRF.
We all have someone close to us that has been touched by cancer. By helping fund a cure may we someday defeat this terrible disease.
My Goal: Raise $5000 for the MMRF!
Please support my participation in IRONMAN 70.3 Connecticut benefiting the MMRF. I have made a commitment to raise at least $5000, and I need your help to get there. Please contribute whatever you can. It all adds up!
Please take this opportunity to give back and support this game-changing cancer organization.
