To Friends and Family (and to some I have yet to meet!),

5 years ago I set out to raise $5,000 and compete in my first Ironman race at Lake Placid in honor of my father who was battling cancer. Little did I know that journey was going to change my life in a way I couldn't imagine. It has lead to 8 Ironman finishes (and counting) including 2 trips to the Ironman World Championships, 6 Marathon finishes, and a host of half-ironman, half marathon, and short course triathlon finishes.

We raised close to $40,000 in that first year prior to my fathers passing. Since then the journey has continued in his honor, and I have continued to raise money and push my body to the limit in honor of a host of loved ones who are battling Multiple Myeloma and other forms of cancer.

Since that first year we have raised $68,866 and counting and this year we are making the push to $100,000! THE GOAL is to RAISE $30,000 in the next 30 DAYS prior to IRONMAN LAKE PLACID on July 22nd.

The MMRF is one of the most highly regarded cancer foundations in the world. An outstanding 90% of the total MMRF budget goes directly towards research and related programming. And the MMRF is in the top 1% of all charities.

So many of you have donated to my efforts over the past couple of years and I cannot thank you enough. For those of you that have already donated, I ask that you consider making my efforts part of your charitable giving for this year. For those of you who have not please consider a donation.

There is no donation too small. We have all had cancer in some form or another touch our lives. All work done in the field is critical in finding a cure for all cancers.

I will continue to push myself to my physical and mental limits to prove that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE in pursuit of finding a cure.

Thank you all so much and God Bless,

This disease took my brother in law Joseph D’Annibale from us last year leaving behind my sister and his 4 children. He was s Marine and a police officer,He spent his whole life serving others ! He fought a hard fight and I pray they find a cure so others don’t have to go through this.
