Dear Family & Friends,
This June 11, I will be participating in the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon to support my Grandma Millie. For this race, I will be partnering with the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) Team For Cures.
Multiple myeloma is the second most common form of blood cancer and, sadly, has one of the lowest five-year relative survival rates of all cancers. My Grandma has been battling with MM for over 6 years and continues to beat the odds every day.
Swimming 1.5 miles, biking 18 miles, & running 8 miles will be much easier than the challenges she (and many others) face.
The Goal: Raise $2,000 for the MMRF!
The MMRF is one of the most highly regarded cancer foundations in the world. An outstanding 90% of the total MMRF budget goes directly towards research and related programming. And the MMRF is in the top 1% of all charities, having earned Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for the past eleven years in a row.
Please contribute whatever you can. It all adds up!
